Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph

Ciao!

I should have posted about this hotel months ago, but sometimes life gets in the way.  Several months ago, my friends and I road-tripped it up to Columbus to see Drake and Future perform and I couldn’t be happier with the hotel my friend picked, Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph!  Talk about breathtaking.

The first thing I want to say is that as soon as I walked in.. I was completely caught off guard by the scent… I wanted to walk out and back in again just so I could smell it.  It smelled so refreshing and just ALL AROUND CLEAN.. I don’t know about you, but that’s WHAT I WANT in a hotel.  Cleanliness.

A fun fact about this hotel is that the first Le Méridien opened in Paris in 1972 with over 1,000 rooms (wow)!  You can read more about the history here.

I looooved this sliding door – very different and not used to seeing this.

Hotel beds are amazing, no ifs, ands or buts about it..

subtle dose of vintage!

I found the alarm clock on eBay – here is one option, but there were several others at different costs (and I found one on Amazon), put your bidding skills to the test!

you wouldn’t guess that three girls were staying here for one night… right?

bathroom columbus

See how the toilet paper is sort of slanted, we thought that was part of the “art”, but it definitely fell off the wall at 6:00 a.m. when I got up… how abrupt at that hour.
